- Impact Grant

Communities in Schools of the Nation’s Capital (CISNCAP) surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. During the 2022-23 school year, CISNCAP worked in ten DC public schools throughout Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8, reaching over 4,300 students and their families and providing intensive case management for more than 400 students.

My Sister’s Place shelters, supports and empowers survivors of domestic violence and their children, while providing leadership and education to build a supportive community. For over 40 years, MSP has provided care through hotlines, domestic violence shelters, and continued aftercare to help survivors build independent lives.
