Healthy Babies Project, Inc. (HBP) connects high-risk, underserved pregnant DC women, including teens, to prenatal care, social services, and educational opportunities. HBP’s one-on-one support to women means their babies have a greater chance of surviving and thriving. In fact, the average infant mortality among HBP clients is only about 1/3 of the average for the District of Columbia – and 29% better than the national average.
