Community Bridges, Inc. empowers girls from diverse backgrounds to become exceptional students, positive leaders, and healthy young women by addressing the developmental needs of immigrant and minority girls and their families living at or below the federal poverty level.

Healthy Babies Project, Inc. empowers DC youth to build healthy, stable lives by offering life skills training to prevent youth pregnancy; evidence-based case management and peer support to nurture healthy families; and job readiness and advocacy training to empower youth to move out of poverty.

Together We Bake provides a comprehensive workforce training and personal development program to help underserved women gain self-confidence, transferable workforce skills, and hands-on experience, which will help them move toward sustainable employment and self-sufficiency.

Communities in Schools of the Nation’s Capital (CISNCAP) surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. During the 2022-23 school year, CISNCAP worked in ten DC public schools throughout Wards 5, 6, 7, and 8, reaching over 4,300 students and their families and providing intensive case management for more than 400 students.

Child Resource Connect creates healthy and nurturing environments for children Through direct services for families, coaching for childcare providers, and collaboration with other public and private agencies, they work to ensure that children have a healthy start through maternal and child health services, access to first-rate childcare programs, safe and secure housing, and other crucial supports.

Edu-Futuro breaks the cycle of poverty by empowering underserved Latino and immigrant youth and families through education, leadership development, parent engagement, case management, and workforce development. In 2023, Edu-Futuro will serve more than 3,400 students and their families throughout Northern Virginia.

The mission of The Wanda Alston Foundation (WAF) is to eradicate homelessness for LGBTQIA2S+ youth ages 18-24 and to ensure that they have access to services that improve their quality of life. The WAF is the only housing program in Washington, DC solely dedicated to offering pre-independent transitional living and support services to LGBTQIA2S+ youth experiencing or at risk of homelessness in all eight wards

Capital Area Asset Builders creates opportunities for low- and moderate-income individuals in the greater DC region to build financial security, savings, and wealth for the future by providing a host of financial programs, coaching, and advocacy to help clients achieve their goals.

Beacon House provides children in the Edgewood neighborhood of Northeast Washington, DC with a safe, nurturing, and life-expanding community in which to increase their academic achievement, discover their talents, and grow into healthy adults who achieve their greatest potential.

Nueva Vida informs, supports, and empowers Latinas in the greater DC region whose lives are affected by cancer and advocates for and facilitates timely access to state of the art cancer care. Nueva Vida believes that no physical, financial, or structural barrier should block the care of any person.

La Cocina VA creates opportunities for social and economic change through feeding, educating, and empowering the minds of the community.

Community Youth Advance (CYA) fills existing gaps and harnesses the power of community to help underprivileged youth excel in school and in life.

CAFY (Community Advocates for Family & Youth) embraces, educates, and empowers those impacted, affected, or harmed by crime or trauma on their journey to justice and healing.
