Friends of Guest House, the 2018 recipient of the Many Hands $100,000 grant, is profiled in the June 15th Washington Post. The article notes that 3 of 10 people who leave prison face renewed incarceration after two years, according to a study by the Pew Charitable Trusts. “Only about 10 percent of our former clients return to prison within two years of successfully completing our program,” Friends of Guest House Executive Director Kari Galloway reports. “We’re super-proud of that.”
