Many Hands Board and Health Committee members gathered at the Silver Spring headquarters of Greater DC Diaper Bank to present a check for $58,500 to founder and Executive Director Corinne Cannon. The 2019 Many Hands Health finalist and the first organization to be a two-time Many Hands grantee, Greater DC Diaper Bank empowers families and individuals in need throughout DC, Maryland, and Virginia by providing an adequate and reliable source for basic baby needs and personal hygiene products. They will use their Many Hands grant to expand their warehouse space by 3,000 square feet–making it possible to house more products, staff, and volunteers and assist more families.
