Fox 5 DC recently reported on the work of Safe Shores – The DC Children’s Advocacy Center, the 2017 recipient of the Many Hands $100,000 Impact Grant. Safe Shores provides intervention, hope and healing for children and families affected by sexual abuse, trauma and violence, and works to prevent abuse through outreach, education and training.  Every year, they serve more than 1,200 children and their families.
