We are excited to be taking part in a panel discussion organized by Spur Local (formerly the Catalogue for Philanthropy) to help introduce local nonprofits to giving circles. Many Hands Board member Mary Kwak will join Allison Beck, representing the Next Gen Giving Circle, and Lynn O’Connell, from Giving Together, to talk about their grants processes and what they look for in organizations they fund, the benefits (and what to keep in mind) when working with a giving circle, what an effective long-term partnership can look like, and more. Spur Local Executive Director Matt Gayer will moderate the discussion, taking place on Wednesday, November 1 at 10:00 am.
