At Many Hands, we believe that valuing and empowering a wide range of voices is critical to effective grantmaking. Therefore, we’ve launched a pilot program to waive half of the minimum membership gift. You can now become a member and participate fully in grantmaking and all Many Hands programming with a gift of $500 ($150 for members under 35).
There are only two requirements: You must live or work within the Many Hands service area (District of Columbia; Montgomery County, MD; Prince George’s County, MD; Arlington County, VA; Fairfax County, VA; Alexandria City, VA; Fairfax City, VA; Falls Church City, VA) and plan to participate in Many Hands grantmaking or other programming.
New and returning members are eligible for the waiver. The Board maintains the identity of waiver recipients in confidence. Please email Lori Sostowski with any questions at membership@manyhandsdc.org or click here to request a waiver today.
