More than 100 Many Hands members and their guests participated in the 2022 Annual Meeting on May 12. After more than two years spent primarily on Zoom, we were delighted to welcome so many old and new friends back to Chevy Chase Village Hall and to offer members the alternative of watching the meeting on our live stream.
During the 2022 grant cycle, Many Hands raised more than $300,000, which will be granted to the four nonprofits chosen by the members who served on this year’s Focus Area Committees: Beacon House, Capital Area Asset Builders, My Sister’s Place, and Nueva Vida. The leaders of all four organizations spoke eloquently at the Annual Meeting about their work and plans for using Many Hands funding.
At the conclusion of the event, members received an electronic ballot to vote for the 2022 Impact Grantee. If you were unable to attend, you can watch the recording:
