The Education, Health, Housing, and Job Readiness committees are hard at work selecting their three semi-finalist organizations. These groups will be asked to complete the Many Hands Grant Application and submit more detailed financial information. At the end of April, each committee will select a finalist.
The grant applications from the four focus area finalists will be emailed to all voting members in early May so they can be fully informed about each organization and be prepared to cast their votes on May 12, 2016.
The final Many Hands vote and meeting will take place on May 12th at 7 p.m. at the Chevy Chase Village Hall. All voting members are invited to hear the presentations and cast their votes that evening. If you are unable to attend, absentee ballots will be available. The $100,000 grantee will be announced early the next morning.
