“Guest House” Documentary Screening – Thursday, January 30, at Sixth & I

Please join Many Hands for the Washington, DC premiere of Guest House, a feature documentary film that follows the stories of three courageous women in a re-entry house as they acclimate to life after being released from incarceration while battling addiction.

Guest House spotlights the work of Friends of Guest House, the 2018 recipient of the Many Hands $100,000 Impact Grant.

The screening will take place on Thursday, January 30 at 7:00 pm at Sixth & I. Following the screening, there will be a Q&A with co-producer/co-director Hannah Zweck, Friends of Guest House Executive Director Kari Galloway, and other film participants.

Before the screening, please join Many Hands Board members and friends for a casual gathering at 5:00 pm at Zaytinya (701 9th Street NW). Drinks and small plates can be ordered at the bar. Kick off the new year at the Many Hands member coffee on Sunday, January 12 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm! This informal event, hosted by a founding Board member, is an opportunity to gather for coffee and conversation–about Many Hands or not–with friends both old and new.
